I have visited Hidden Valley for the past fourteen seasons over christmas break and never has it been in better condition. To Start off, the Buncher Company really cares about the skiiers. Everyone is very pleasant and always asks you how everything is going and they are very organized making lift lines shorter and ski lessons easier. Next the snow making is incredible, they fired up their arsenal of 80 m18 automatic snowguns when i was there and boy can they make snow. These guns not only make the snow in quantity but also in quality. The machine made snow is as close to natural as you can get. It is also very affordable offering different session times at different prices making it easy on the wallet. The runs are also very nicely groomed and long enough for you to feel the "burn" in your thighs. The terrain park is also unbelievable. It is not the typical couple of boxes and a crappy jump. They are very creative and have varying elements that are perfect for any ability. They have tires, totem poles, mailboxes, and kinked rails to entertain even the most advanced skiiers. But, they also have kid friendly rollers and flat boxes for the beginner. The food was incredible and cheaper than most resorts i have been to, and above all IT IS CLEAN. They also have a new ski shop which is stocked full of goodies. Lastly, they are cutting new trails and adding permanent structures to the North Summit making it feel more like a resort. Overall, a fantastic place to ski, I LOVE IT
