I skied last weekend at Hidden Valley. The new owners have transformed the resort! The facilities are no longer dilapidated--everything has been spiffed up. There's now a real ski shop bursting with merchandise and staffed by people who talk to you. There are several reasonable places to eat. And much more is coming!

On the North Side, they installed a Moving Carpet ski loader that reduces the challenge of loading the quad, nearly eliminating the long lift lines that used to form there.

There is a huge amount of new snow-making, so the snow was good even when nature hadn't obliged. There are new, huge cats for grooming, and you can see them working at night. A really good job is being done of maintaining the snow.

Hats off to the new owners. Hidden Valley is BAAAAACK!!!!!
