I don't know why some posters are reviewing Elk as if it is a western resort. It's not and you'd be nuts to think it was. It is however PA's best skiing and really does have the feel of skiing in New England. It might be slightly shorter then Blue Mountain but it's runs are a lot longer and its snow is infinitely better!
