I have skied Blue Mountain 3X's - All on weekends - Only recommended if you get there early. My first 2 visits included a lesson. The ski school instructors were helpful and knowledgeable. Blue is about as good as it gets in PA as far as terrain goes. I only wish they would pull recless boarders/skiers off the "slower" slopes. Got trucked by a college aged guy while with an instructor(he was shocked by the recklessness and indifference of this guy, but did nothing except a verbal warning and reminder of the safety code)
Great for all skill levels especially intermediates looking to improve your skills. Would recommend going on a weekday to ski/board without the crowd. Much like any PA Mountain, ice builds on the slopes as the day turns into night.
