Friendly ski patrol
ICE, crowds, under-staffed, unattended children
I am an expert skier and decided to take my wife and friends here to teach them skiing for the first time. Having skied in Maine, Vermont, NH, and Colorado, I can easily say this was the most crowded, disorganized, and poorly groomed mountain I have ever come across. NOT GOOD FOR LEARNING.
*The bunny slope was a mess, with no staff regulating the lines for the chairlift or magic carpet. So kids were cutting in line nonstop.
*Long lines=long wait, in excess of 20 minutes per run.
*Supposed Green trail "Paradise" would be called a Blue anywhere else with its sharp switchbacks, narrow width, aggressive patrons, and insane ICE.
*As I mentioned, the ice is terrible, making for poor learning conditions.
*The number of unattended children bombing uncontrollably down the Green slopes forced me to keep a constant eye uphill so that the people I was teaching wouldn't get hit. I did in fact see two people get slammed from behind.
