Took my two kids (age 9,12) who are new to skiing. Bought the All mountain Package $70 (all mtn ticket 8am-10pm,rental,lesson) Highly Recommended! (Don't buy the new skier package the kids will be bored of the bunny hills in two hours.) My kids got one on one training with a qualified instructor for one hour (like private lesson) for half the cost. By the end of the day they were sking Burma Trail and Paradise (green) very efficiently. The snow was nice to the night when it started to turn icy. By then they were worn out. Suggestion: go on a weekday (we went Friday). Absolutely no wait time and plenty of instructors waiting to teach kids. Lower lodge was packed. We always bring lunch (cafeteria is expensive with greasy food - hot dogs, burgers, fries). They should expand the lower lodge with more tables, fireplace, better food. Not a lodge feel. Overall had a wonderful day at Blue mountain. Would go again.
