as of last year, i would have told you blue is the best mountain in PA but after this year, its not even close to being the best. it seems that this year it is a lot more crowded and more icy. one would think because of the new 6 pack lift that there would be no lines even on a saturday (like last year with the quad and the slow double, not many line). the complete opposite was this year. only day i went when there was no lines was on a tuesday (and the high was 18 so one guy that worked there said there is usually 4 times as many ppl here on a wkday) day of the season but only b/c no one was there. if you want to go to a much better mountain with better snow, food, and trails...go to sno mountain (old montage mountain). it has great glade skiing and a better terrain park than blue. the jumps are so much higher and their halfpipe is 5 times better (they also have a quarter pipe!...i think blue added one late in the season) after skiing at blue 4 or 5 times this year...i doubt i will go back (well maybe once to hit up the new trail but thats it) you will find me and sno mountain every saturday as well as 3 out of the 4 days of pres. weekend. its that good (maybe blue once and jack frost once too) as a note, sno mt has the 2nd steepest trail in the poconos and it is covered in bumps most of the time...great mt for skiers and hardcore freestyle boarders/skiers
