overall as a mountain, blue is great. i have been there 3 times this season. on my last visit (feb. 3, 2007) i was very disappointed. its was packed. i have never seen blue this crowded since ive been going there (about 5 years). their new 6 pack lift disappointed me the most. they couldnt run it as fast as i can go b/c there are too many beginners that simply cannot get off a lift with 5 other people. in the morning it was running fast but as the beginners started showing up, it had to keep stopping every few chairs b/c of people falling so they slowed it down. i am an advanced skier and i cannot believe how people cannot get off a detachable lift b/c it goes so slow, its almost impossible to fall. also with the six pack lift, there are too many line. it works out that every four chairs, one row from each line will go. it makes each line mover very slow. i found that the singles line closest to the sixes lin is the fastest b/c all the groups of 5 that go in the sixes line will be finished off with a single plus the double and triple lines next to it. i love blue but too really get the best out of the mountain, i recommend going on a weekday. just as a side note, i love the two double diamonds, especially razor's edge. and props to the park crue, great job on the hits, they are amazing. my ratings i gave lower than i think i would normally give them b/c of my last visit.
