I have skied all over the world and I have never seen a mountain as inept as Blue. I was expecting crowds and long lines but I never would have expected to find a mountain that shows such little respect for their paying guests.
On one of the busiest days of the year, at the base of their two primary lifts they didn't set up any lift line corrals. Instead what they had was a mob of 400-500 people, all pushing and shoving from every direction trying to fight their way to the chair. It took an hour to fight through with my wife and kids just so we could get back to our car at the peak lodge in order to leave that place forever. At $60+ per lift ticket they should have more than three lift attendants for a high speed 6 person lift on a holiday weekend.
You have so many other choices for skiing in eastern PA. Blue mountain should be avoided until they get their act together.
