Full review

I taught my kids to ski here when they were 2-3. It was good for them until about age 5. It's a great place for beginners. It's more fun than anything in the Poconos with all their flat, overly groomed trails. Bear Creek has some jumps and tree skiing for variety. Sidenote> Too bad they have to use so much power to make all their snow and keep it there with all the warm weather and rain in their climate. They can make snow in Florida. You can always count on them to be open. As a skier I am very concerned about the effect global warming has on skiing, and the effect skiing has, as a result of it, on worsening climate change. Bear Creek really shouldn't be there.
