I've been to Bear Creek many times over the years, even from it's days as little ole DOE MOUNTAIN. It's obvious they've underwent major renovations over the last few years trying to make it a destination type resort. The dining and lodging is very good, in fact, a notch above the slopes themselves. Now that the lodge has undergone major renovations, it's time for them to expand the slopes. The slopes are geared for the beginner/novice and on an uncrowded day, you can hit all the runs in just a couple of hours. They have added snowmaking ability, now they need more runs to cover with those new guns.
Overall, a decent place to go if you're not worried about double black diamonds. If you like being out on the slopes as much as you like relaxing by the fire drinking a Magic Hat #9, this is a good place to do it.
