Just went to Alpine Mountain this past Friday. Conditions were excellent (due to 12" dump). Terrain consisted of flat spans with small downhill pitches mixed in to keep moving. This made for exciting beginner terrain, but would begin to wear on the intermediate or expert very quickly. We rode all terrain in less than 3 hours and left. Lifts are old and slow, but easy to get on if a beginner. They were empty. Great for families with the exception of the outdated lodge. No crowd to speak of in line or on the slopes. Terrain park is weak and poorly designed. They might as well have not built it and left the slope bare to provide more beginner terrain. To summarize, this mountain is great for families or the inexperienced, but unvaried and monotonous for the intermediate and better skier/rider.
