Peisey-Vallandry is an alpine resort divided into five Savoyard villages situated on the sunny side of the valle : Landry, Peisey, Nancroix, Vallandry and Plan-Peisey.
Peisey-Vallandry includes more than 200 kilometers of slopes. It is a ski area open to skiers of all levels located in a large forest. This is a resort area with traditional villages with permanent residents. Guided tours of Peisey village by torchlight regularly are offered.

The forests of Peisey-Vallandry and Champagny en Vanoise often get sunshine from the morning through the day. The north-facing gulleys of Montchavin and Arc 1600 provide good snow late into the season. You'll drop more than 2000 m from the Aiguille Rouge to Villaroger.
