This winter there are a few significant changes at Willamette Pass.
The resort is working with Pro Riders from Tactics Boardshop in Eugene to enhance their park offerings and special events. Look for Friday night comps in the park on By George starting in January.
The new Mountain Manager is a snowboarder
Local lodging operators are offering Stay and Ski Free packages or at least discounts on tickets mid-week non-holiday.
They have been selling season passes all fall so those customers will be on the hill not in line at Guest Services
BUT BEST of ALL!!!!!!
The wildfires that swept right up to the edge of the village of Crescent Lake spared Manley's Tavern
If you remember the television show Northern Exposure you will feel like you are on the set when you open the large solid pine door.
Park your sled outside, snowshoe from your chalet, or rumble down from your cabin with a designated driver and enjoy the broasted chicken and to die for hot mustard and mogo slabs of potatoes.
Simple joys in life must be sought out, pursued with passion.
Ski Willamette Pass this winter. Soak up the ambiance and get to know the "side-country" at this gem of a resort.
