I am a true Willamette Pass Native. I love it up there!! I've been skiing and riding there for 22 years now. That should say something right there about the mountain. The runs are fun and Willamette Pass by far offers the best tree skiing. I would rather be at Willamette Pass on a good snow day then any other mountain in Oregon. Wonderfull steep runs can keep your heart pumping all day long; all the while your friends or family that want something a little tamer can play the day away on the twighlight lift. (less steep runs) The vibe up there is mostly pretty good. I do like and get along with most of the staff. Willamette is a family mountain that offers the best of steep and deep for the die hard in the group. The snow is usually great. The new high speed lift really lets you make the most of your time on the mountain. Willamette Pass offers some of the best times to be had in Oregon. The lodge has a nice look and feel to it. I cant say enough how much I love this mountain. I know I sound like I work there and am trying to drum up more business; this could not be farther from true. I ride at least four days a week and would hate to ruin my good time with turning it into work. (weather permitting) Oh yeh and for all you jibbers out there, word is that they have stepped up this year and put quite a lot of money into building a state of the art snowboard park. They needed this!! So ride it, ski it, love it!!! I do have one complaint; I feel like the season passes are a little much. I usually get one there but did not want to this year because they do not offer a preseason deal. (even if you are a returning pass holder) Dont let this scare you away though because if really so the math there is no price to high for the time of your life. Plus they gotta pay for that really cool lift somehow! I would like to see old timers like myself and a few others getting a little more of the kick down though. See ya up there..........Peace.
