Mt. Bachelor was a dream on Wednesday. Perfect snow, few people and lots of runs to ourselves. Felt like home for these two Coloradoans with fresh powder and blue skies. Four stars just because Summit Lift was down and the other lifts had lots of stops. First time on this mountain and we loved it.

March 27: 30 degrees, south winds, 6-8" high-density snow over the past few days, and still that good crust beneath that. Good turns in the Bowl and runs near Windsor chair. Access road not plowed regularly on snow days, so 4WD recommended!

Sunny and a slushy in the sun, but still lots of good terrain to ride. There's a huge base still and it looks like a small storm in our future. Here's to a long spring!
