    Pros: Very fun mountain, great terrain, well-kept

    Cons: Customer service was unsatisfactory, especially for new visitors

I heard a lot of positive feedback about Mt Bachelor prior to my visit at the end of December 2009. I was, however, disappointed with the customer service, or lack of. When my friend and I arrived on the mountain, we were aware of the weather conditions but decided to board anyway. After we paid $70 for a lift ticket and managed 4 runs, we encountered some problems with our sports equipment and could not continue snowboarding. We asked for permission to use our lift tickets in the tubing area, to take advantage of the money we invested into being there. After talking to several customer service people, we were told "Too bad--it's not our problem." I would not recommend Mt Bachelor to my friends because of this incident. I usually board in Washington state and almost every resort/park has a 100% customer service guarantee. It's too bad that such a great resort in Oregon doesn't live up to the same standards.
