A Oasis of quiet open runs with no lift queues. We went on a sunny saturday late in March and found perfectly groomed runs, wide open pistes, no lift lines has a wonderful time. Having skied the day before at Blue Mountain which was a disaster of too many people squeezed into too small a moutain - long lift lines and dangerously busy pistes the contrast was startling. The runs at Talisman are long and wide but the steep bits are short, if you are a beginner or intermediate this is a wonderful place, for the expert it is great to carve and get up some speed as there is plenty of room. They are working on the north runs which they say will open more challenging slopes. We did not stay there but the slopeside accomodation looked good and at a fraction of the cost of the big blue properties.
