Several great intermediate runs
lifts can be a bit slow, nothing to challenge expert skiers
This is a great hill for skiers to work on their carving technique and slalom skiing....or for a family to have a fun day on the slopes. I don't remember the green hairpin turn the other reviewer mentions, but there are a few turns on the main green run - so if you're a skier who's still working on controlling your direction, this isn't the hill for you - go to Mt. Pakenham, which is a nearby beginner hill. Otherwise, the green runs provide a nice and easy decent that goes around the entire mountain and has some great views along the way. The blue and black diamond runs are fairly similar, both providing fairly consistent fall line runs with a few kinks and side areas that are usually spared from grooming....the blacks being slightly steeper than the blues, but not steep compared to blacks at most Quebec resorts. Though there are no official glade runs, there are many small trails between blue/black runs for a bit of fun. If you are in the west end of Ottawa, it's definitely worth the drive out to this hill over Pakenham (unless you're an out of control beginner).
