Located along the shores of Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada and spanning the Niagara Escarpment, Blue Mountain is the area’s largest mountain village resort.  Blue Mountain has evolved into a year round destination and provides many off-the-hill activities. The resort is routinely ranked as one of the top family-friendly resorts in Canada.

The resort has updated amenities and facilities with a well developed trail system. The village base is home to a multitude of shopping, dining and lodging options.

Blue Mountain features abundant terrain spread across over 350 acres of skier and rider accessible terrain. The resort is one of the most frequented resorts in Canada and has a reputation of catering to families.

The terrain consists of long wide groomed trails combined with a dedicated learner’s area. The resort is easy to navigate and is serviced by multiple express lifts.

Blue Mountain Ski Area

Blue Mountain Resort is the brain child of Czechoslovakian born Jozo Weider who started operating Blue Mountain is 1941. The first lifts consisted of two sleds drawn by cable and powered by a truck engine. The original trails of Schuss, Granny and Kandahar can still be skied on the North side of the mountain.
