Blue Mountain seems to be a terrific resort for families especially if they enjoy skiing the intermediate level. There is a variety of runs as the resort is a fair size. The quick and easy chairlifts make skiing there a pleasure. One of the great things about skiing Blue Mountain, is that you get to stay around the fabulous village. Blue Mountain resort has evidently put great effort and thought into constucting the perfect village. The village includes a number of shops, restaurants and beautiful hotels suited to the ski, eat and stayover scheduale. The only major draw back to spending a couple days at Blue Mountain are the prices. Lift tickets for a family can be very pricey, along with the fine dining and classy hotels. A less expensive alternative to staying in the village is to stay in collingwood. The Holiday inn is located very close the resort so that you can travel conveniantly to the village both day and night. Overall Blue Mountain is a great place to go for people at an intermediate level, who want to make the best of their Ontario skiing. - Franny
