The ski areas Hündle-Thalkirchdorf and Steibis are especially suitable for beginners and families. If the snow conditions are good, the Hochgrat (with an altitude of 1832 m the highest elevation in the Allgäu) is challenging with it’s up to 6 km long slopes, even for experienced skiers.

Cross-country skiers can find 100 km of well-groomed runs in Oberstaufen. Snow reliable until May are the high altitude Hädrich runs.
