Some of the worst conditions I've seen. Snow is borderline nonexistent. Tree skiing is an absolute roar (and dangerous). Don't waste your time until there is another storm.
One bright spot - the hot choc at Spruce is A+
Was there yesterday, windblown ice on trails, top half covered in fog...needless to say the mountain trails overall were variable leaning more towards hard pack ice. On the other hand...spent the day in the trees, found some good stash but you would have to bushwhack to find today
We hit Jay Peak yesterday and was there from first tram to last lift! All lifts were running and only JFK was closed, main runs varied from patches of drift powder, groomed to hard pack but not much ice. We found primo thigh deep powder amongst the trees!
