I'm at Jay right now, and they didn't get 2". Conditions are atrocious--the coverage that is there is ice and boiler plate. The rest is rocks, dirt, grass, and stumps. Only a couple lifts are running and about 28 trails are open. The weather isn't their fault, but they shouldn't lie about what they're getting.

I thought the mountain would be destroyed after the rain, however the crew have done an ok job keeping the remaining runs open. Lots of snow blowing going on in prep for tomorrow. The ice and the snow blowers are not great for beginners, however there were enough soft spots to help a turn almost all the way down. Today was worth the effort. The cold required 1 extra layer. overall quality. 5/10. worth it if you were here already. Guestimate for tomorrow is probably about the same.

An inch or two of fresh powder but its covering large sheets ice. mainly inconsistent conditions as they are working hard to blow around some snow.

the Stowe pass online is only 79 bucks mid-week, great deal when you compare lifts and terrain. Bolton is 62 at the hill, buyer beware
