Terrain, Nightlife, Snow
Pricey, Lots of British, Poor Snow Parks
I love Val D'Isere, the apres ski scene is the best in France and people really do board hard and party harder.
That said I think families get on pretty well here also. Food is fairly standard on the mountain but some really great French food in the village. Awesome links to Tignes which gives you more than enough challenging terrain to explore in a week. Great back country and generally great snow both times I have been.
Dicks Team Bar and the Foile Duce are must do's for any visit to Val D'Isere.
Would definitely have no reservations about saying Val D'Isere deserves its reputation on all fronts.
