Val Cenis Vanoise

Ski Capital of the Haute Maurienne valley, Val Cenis is composed of two authentic Savoyard villages, next to the Vanoise National Parc and the Mont Cenis Pass (the border with Italy),but also next to the Regional Parc d'Avigliana in Italy, more than 100 summets over 3.000 m of altitude surround the Haute Maurienne valley. The villages contain treasures of architecture and sculpture, due to a long history of savoyards artists in the valley.
Val Cenis is situated at 130 km from Albertville and with the fastest train in the world (TGV) it takes you only 4 hours and 30 minutes from Paris to get here, but it is also close to Geneva and Torino.
