  • Les Gets rewarding skiers arriving in full cars

    The French resort of les Gets, which has been a strong campaigner on the environment, has launched a new scheme to try to do more to help the environment. The "mobilité douce" scheme will reward drivers arriving with at least four people in the car by offering everyone in the vehicle 25% off their lift ticket. Full Article

    La Clusaz in France is currently completing redevelopment of its Etale ski area at a cost of 12m Euros. This winter, visitors will find two new ski lifts: a quad chairlift with a conveyor belt that will serve the higher section of the Etale massif, and an ultramodern ‘Telemix', which is a combination of chairlift and gondola.
