Pros: Good access to Courchevel area and cheaper than higher up the mountain
Cons: Quiet, not too much apres ski, slushy at end of season

Lovely village with the majority of chalets/apartments having ski in/ski out access. Good links with the rest of the 3 vallees including Courchevel and Meribel. Traditional, family run apres ski venues with prices cheaper than that of restaurants/bars further up the mountain, providing live music on a frequent basis. Well equiped "corner shop" at reasonable prices. Only drawback is the snow gets very slushy and limited towards the end of the season and you have to have some skill in getting down Folyeres when this does happen in order to avoid the grass and mud and actually find the snow, there is however a shuttle service that will get you home if needed.
Get all the skiing of the Courchevel area without the hustle, bustle and price tag that comes with Courchevel!
