Snow Reporter Comments

Status update for Sun, Feb 19

1:35 PM

Cloudy skies have moved in and we could see some snow showers overnight. Expect similarly slick conditions tomorrow morning, as the temperature drops below freezing to the high twenties. Tomorrow we should see clouds to start the morning & eventual clearing as the day passes, with light, variable winds. Once the sun returns, conditions should soften a bit & the week is shaping up to be exceptionally mild thereafter.

All 111 trails are open & groomed runs will be the most edge-able tomorrow morning. The groomers plan to roll out 57 overnight, including Ripcord & Which Way. You may consider tuning your skis for a day of fast carving, or having that taken care-of for you by our Rent & Repair shop. The off-piste and natural terrain will be challenging first-thing & should only be navigated by advanced skiers and riders.

Sugarbush Parks is rocking 100 freestyle features across 4 trails. Sample 17 beginner features on Slowpoke & 7 on Easy Rider. Step up to 21 intermediate installations on Sugar Run & 55 advanced sets on Riemergasse.

GMX, Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate are scheduled for 8 AM. All other lifts open at 9 AM. Slide Brook Express Quad is the exception, operating 10 AM to 3:15 PM. If you plan to park at the end of Slide Brook Rd, please leave the traffic lane open to allow residents to access their homes. The Mad Bus offers free daily shuttles between the base areas & around town including extended weekend hours until 1 AM.

Reach your true skier/rider potential with 4 Saturdays of advanced lessons in the Sugarbush Ski and Ride Black Diamond Club. Turn any day into an extraordinary adventure by reserving your spot on our first tracks cabin cat through Lincoln Peak Guest Services.

Join us on and off the slopes for exciting events this week, including apres s'mores in the courtyard, live music, & more. This afternoon, kids can dance the Blizzard Boogie, join Murphy Moose for a torchlight parade of their own, & unwind afterwards at a pizza and movie night.

Be better informed with the Sugarbush App for both Apple and Android. Uphill travel is permitted on designated routes. Review the Skier Responsibility code for a safe season of adventure.
