Surprisingly good cover. The preceding night provided 2-3" of extra cover and the snow makers have been leaving large mounds all over the mountain. The mounds are getting knocked down leaving a confectionary cover everywhere. Pleasantly surprised and 2" last night.
Conditions much better in Saturday. They blew a bunch of new snow overnight (may have also received an inch or so in the mtn) and while it's still fast, you can set an edge and carve. Not crowded at all either. Props to Boyne for managing the mountain well. This year it's all about making lemonade out of a lemon of a year.
-2 degrees, wind blowing 30 plus knots sideways across the hill, and the snow makers(in their infinite wisdom) are making snow at the TOP. It's a man made white out coming off the lift. Most blowing into woods. I did 3 runs and called it a day.
