Northstar conditions were pretty good today. soft snow on most all groomed runs. not icy. cool to warm temps. thin cover off the runs but still soft. zero wait in lift lines. overall a great day of riding!

No snow for the next month. Not even worth coming until it snows again which is looking like mid January. No park. No runs. No terrain. No snow.

squaw has far better terrain than any where on the east coast. squaw will get more snow in one storm than all winter in vt

I'm not sure I understand what you were expecting. If you post here, you must read, as well. You should have known that there's questionable base and only a few runs open..

North Star was pretty good today. Not very many runs were open up the ones that are open were good. Drifter, burnout and Washoe on look out mountain were in good shape for the majority of the day. Washoe was icy at the top but then turned out very nice. Pretty close to spring skiing conditions. Don't stray from the beaten path however because you sink right down to rocks.

Better than Alpine, but barely (pun intended). Pretty boring, only a few runs open - squaw, red dog and mtn run are about it.. Disappointing, but that's the chance you take in Dec.. Nice resort, would come back..

Sad day. Far too crowded on the few open runs. Felt like I was skiing out East on the hard pack, rocks, etc. Here for the week, but won't waste my money, and I have 1/2 price Mtn Collective pass..
