Today was sick. Disney was insane if you could find fresh tracks. Every single turn I was getting some sick face shots. Everything got tracked down by 12 though. Still so nice, underneath was soft as well so no scraping.
great day, one of my favorites in years! the new snow added plenty of powder all over the mountain. even though it consistently snowed making visibilitybdifficult at times it also kept piling up, i was suprised at how much i found to play around in all day compared to previous days this season. tomorrow i think will be another great day especially with less people
great day at Squaw if you know where to ski. Hit KT at 8:30 got 6 runs in before 9:30. Took the Fuitel up and noticed Siberia was spinning I looked again and they were loading. Got there did 5 runs there. Then off to Emigrant for 4 runs there 3 down the front side and 1 down the backside. finally hit a line at Granite 1 run there and 1 down Shirley. everybody and there mother was down there. started down the mountain run and when I got to Headwall there was no line so up I went. Hogs back was epic. when I got back to the Headwall lift for another run the line was insane so back to KT for 2 runs down Red Dog Ridge then 2 at Squaw Creek. I was out of there at 1:30 and home in Truckee by 2:40. if you know how to Ski Squaw you'll have a great day..
Ya'll continue to complain about Squaw. Stop selling out a go to a real big mountain ski place with no lines and a great vibe...
You ever hear of Kirkwood? Opened at 9:15 whole mountain open by about 10:30. No Lines! Killer Terrain!
One of the worst days ever at Squaw. Got there at 8am. Basically only got 2 runs in over 3 hours because the whole upper mountain closed. Worst lift lines I've ever seen. This because of 8" of snow. After a loyal customer for 30 years I'm close to calling it quits at Squaw. It's gotten out of hand.
