Awesome snowboarding close to Reno
Pros: 30 mins from Reno, not crowded.
Cons: SLOW lifts
For a place so close to Reno (30 mins) it is really fun. There are quite a few trails and combining them is easy due to how they run near one another.... Full review

Nice new snow!
Pros: Fresh snow, few people

Spent a few hours at Rose in the 7-9 inches of fresh snow...and more falling the whole time. It's always so fun to find a completely empty run...lots of it fresh tracks.... Full review
