decent vertical, a few short steeps, snowmaking
slow lifts, lousy food, overstated base
Sugar was OK. They covered most of the trails with snow (seemingly machine made) and the grooming was decent in the morning before warm temps & skis/boards tore things up. The base is definitely exaggerated but there weren't any horrible spots. The lifts are slow but since the crowds were light, there was no waiting in line. They use an antiquated scanning system and they are almost militant with the scanner. I found it kind of strange that they have security guards in the lodge during the day on a weekday. The vertical is a good and they have a few short, but challenging trails at the top. I think it's a decent place if you live in the area and are looking for somewhere to go.
