    Snowshoe Guided Tours

    A great way to stay fit during the winter months! Snowshoe tours will be offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3 pm and Saturday at 9am and 3pm. Based on instructor availability, additional tours will be given on demand for groups of 4 to 15. The program includes a 1 hour tour and snowshoe rental. Cost is $20. Adult tours are for 12 years or older. Children's tours are for 8-11 year olds.     Thanksgiving Turkey Treat

    Plan to spend your Thanksgiving at Sugar this year. For one low price, you can ski/ride any one session each of the four days of the Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-29, 2009 for just $109. Offer expires Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 5 pm. If you order before Oct. 1, 2009 at 4 pm you pay only $89. Less than $23 a day!     Preseason Ski Clinic

    1994 Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist Diann Roffe and two-time (1994 & 1996) Olympian, Krista Schmidinger top the list of this season’s ski clinic coaching staff. Three days of nonstop individual instruction and attention from accomplished skiers and certified instructors. Clinic includes a three-day lift ticket, coaching fees, tuning clinic, video analysis, and a scrumptious Saturday night dinner.     National Winter Trails Day - Winter Feels Good

    The 15th annual National Winter Trails Day is back at Sugar Mountain Resort. The event offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing for FREE. Discover the fun and fitness of snow sports. Snowshoe rental and guided tours are free. Guided tours are available at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. The program includes a 1 hour tour and snowshoe rental.     Hiking & Biking Trails Open

    Hiking and biking trails intertwine throughout the Village of Sugar Mountain. Trail access is free of charge May through October during daylight hours. Trail maps are located in a black, marked mailbox at the base of the Flying Mile slope. Trails are constantly being maintained so please be cautious. Also keep in mind that weather and other variables can change the condition of any trail. While riding a bike within the Village limits helmets are required.   http://www.skisugar.com/summer/
