Pros: Snow and lift lines started good, then got bad.
Cons: Very icy, the guns are annoying, lifts are slow and lines are bad, short runs.

We visited Beech several days after christmas and were surprised at how good the snow conditions were. Lift lines were not bad at all until the afternoon. Be warned that the "high speed" quad here is very slow and the unloading area immediately becomes uphill so get ready to do some serious polling. Due to the limited availability of terrain, everyone just flows to the quad in the afternoon and the lines are awful. If you choose to wait in these lines, you will spend more time waiting in line than you will spend skiing. There was also an extreme amount of ice on all but one of the runs. The food is okay, but staff was very unfriendly to everyone in our party. If you plan to visit Beech, get ready to wait in line, ski lots of ice, and ski with guns on. Overall Beech is an okay mountain more fit for beginners, rather than advanced or intermediate skiiers and riders.
