Overall, I would say that 98% of the cars in the parking lot were from Florida and it was clear when you hit the slopes. It seemed like the people were at Vail in fur lined $500 parkas in 50 degree weather without the understanding of why they were really there...to ski. It was quite funny to watch though... My only comment, if you go, go during the week so you can park and get rentals...If you have some extra time, keep traveling north to west VA where you have a better chance at good snow...CAT can have some really warm days in the winter and you dont want to blow your ski trip with no skiing. just my thoughts.....
