We visited Beech, Sugar & Appalachian Mt during this past week (Feb 9th-12th) and we loved App the best! They had a lot more snow than Beech or Sugar during the week (we just missed the big storm by a few days). The chair to the top was a lot faster than Sugar's and we never waited in line for anything. The staff was so friendly when our rental equipment needed adjustment even though we did not rent from them. The food was all yummy southern comfort food. We loved that they had music playing indoors and out so when we were on the chair we could sing along. The resort is pretty small but so cute with the Swiss theme and great for beginners like my husband. Awesome place to visit and learn how to ski.
