I can't say enough about Appalacian Mtn. We just visited there in December of 07. All of their staff is very friendly and helpfull. It is a great place to go for new skiiers. The nursery is wonderful. The instructors are wonderful and they work with kids very well. The conditions were great. They made plenty of fake snow to keep the conditions good. They don't have a ton of slopes but I think that is why they are able to keep everything in such good condition. If you are looking for a family ski vacation this is the place to go.
