  great place for begginers

  Pros: atmosphere, service, begginer slopes

  Cons: expert slopes werent open

  Pros: Friendly

  Cons: Very small

  Appalachian is a nice little place to go but it is very small. In my view the top mountain is sugar with Beech close Full review

  Great for families

  Pros: Nursery on site, kids program, Good Snowmaking, Well-Groomed

  Cons: Few scheduled classes, food was bad

  Awesome Atmosphere

  Pros: Friendly staff, Great food, Biggest snow base in area

  Cons: Small

  We visited Beech, Sugar & Appalachian Mt during this past week (Feb 9th-12th) and we loved App the best! They had a lot more snow than Beech or Sugar during the week... Full review
