Park City Mountain Resort was selected as OntheSnow's Visitors' Choice for Best Overall Park & Pipe in 2012, thanks to three terrain parks spread out over 3,300 acres and one of the best engineered superpipes in the world. Park City looks to help the progression of freestyle abilities, as skiers and riders can progress from the Neff Land and 3 King’s terrain parks to the more advanced King’s Crown terrain park and Eagle Superpipe. Park City's beginner terrain park, allows skiers and riders to build up a foundation of freestyle skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Park City’s terrain parks are also extremely accessible. The Three Kings park is serviced by its own lift that travels from the base, and King’s Crown skiers and riders can jump and jib all the way down to the Base Lodge. Park City's park crew makes sure that the freestyle terrain is on point every day, just one of many reasons why PCMR is this year's OntheSnow Visitors' Choice Award winner for Best Overall Park & Pipe.
LEARNING/PROGRESSION PARKS: Neff Land, Park City's beginner terrain park, allows skiers and riders to build up a foundation of freestyle skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Neff Land features a variety of smaller features that range from ride-on boxes to larger 10-foot tables. After gaining confidence in Neff Land, skiers and riders can move up to the 3 Kings Park, where three lanes combine for freestyle terrain accessible by all levels.
ADVANCED TO EXPERT PARKS & PIPES: The King's Crown terrain park features perfectly sculpted, massive jumps that could scare even the most advanced park riders. The Eagle Superpipe is the crown jewel of Park City's freestyle terrain, with its 22-foot transition being well known throughout the professional scene.
PARK & PIPE EVENTS FOR 2012/2013: Head to Park City’s Eagle Superpipe and 3 Kings Park from Dec. 17 – Dec. 22, 2012 for the Spring U.S. Grand Prix featuring some of the best half pipe skiers and snowboarders the world has to offer.
