Near Calgary, Alberta, Chatter Creek’s lodges sit amongst 58,000 acres of prime Canadian Rocky Mountain snow sliding. The two gorgeous traditional-style timber lodges, totaling 9,000 square feet, are connected by a breezeway and were hand built from on-site timber in 2002.
Chatter Creek is a mere three-hour drive from Calgary and situated amongst vast powder fields, spaced-out trees and exquisite glaciers. Their location is famous for light, and super dry snow perfect for slipping into the white room.
The accommodations are plush and luxurious, the atmosphere is welcoming and family style, the views are unparalleled and the terrain is endless. There are options for everyone from first-time cat and heli skiers to the world’s best big mountain skiers as is evidenced by the multiple Matchstick Productions segments that have been logged here over the past half decade.
This season Chatter Creek is offering a Pro Powder Clinic. The event allows guests to ski or ride four days with pro skiers, and husband and wife tandem, Dave and Tess Treadway, with a photographer and filmer there to capture the entire experience. The event takes place from Dec. 14-16, and spaces are filling up fast.
