It’s not too early to start scrounging up your change for a 2014-15 season pass at Taos Ski Valley. The Northern New Mexico resort has unveiled pricing for its famous Millennium Pass, a pick-and-choose pass valid for 70 days of skiing or snowboarding, and it’s a deal too good to miss.
Adults can lock in the Millennium Pass for $575 if purchased by closing day on Apr. 6. Snag the pass before then and you’ll also be able to use it for unlimited skiing and snowboarding beginning Mar. 17, 2014 through the remainder of the 2013-14 season. Whatever days you use this season do NOT count toward your 70-day limit.
For youth between 7-17 years old, seniors over 65 years old and active-duty military, you’ll save even more, with full 2014-15 season passes breaking the bank at $315.
In addition to the resort’s 113+ trails, which cover more than 1,200 acres, Taos Ski Valley has announced plans to open a lift to Kachina Peak next season. The peak, topping out at over 12,000 feet, is currently only accessible by hiking. The new lift will be among the highest chairlifts in North America and will increase the mountain’s advanced and expert terrain by 50 percent.
