The Rahlves Banzai Tour is the world's premier big mountain meets skier/boarder-cross race featuring head to head action as four competitiors make their way down a top to bottom natural terrain and snow conditions course. The 2014 events will take place at four Lake Tahoe, CA resorts: Squaw Valley Feb 15-16, Kirkwood Feb 22-23, Alpine Meadows March 8-9 and Sugar Bowl March 15-16.
This event is the ultimate challenge for skiers and boarders 18 and up for a chance to take home huge prize money and test their ability against some of the best.
Timed trials take place on Saturdays, with those advancing to finals racing head to head on Sundays. Each event will carry a prize purse of $15,000, with an added $10,000 for overall champions.
A "Super Final" will take place at the last event at Sugar Bowl where the top male skiers from each contest will race against Daron Rahlves himself, who is a decorated X-Games Champion, Olympian and professional big mountain skier. New this year will be a Men's Snowboard Super Final as well, where the winners will battle Olympian and seven-time X-Games Gold Medalist, Nate Holland. The winner of these two race will each walk away with a cool $5,000 extra.
