The Loveland Ridge Cat is in operation depending on the amount of snow the resort gets. Plenty of snow has been falling at Loveland so the Ridge Cat operation is running. More terrain is opening daily, but the Ridge Cat has already started taking trips to Tickler and Field of Dreams. The cat rides run along the north side of the Continental Divide, serving some of Loveland’s most challenging terrain.
Cat rides are on a first-come, first-served basis. All you need is a valid lift ticket or season pass plus a Ridge Cat Access Pass. The cat passes are available at the ticket office and they are free. A signed waiver is required, and anyone under 18 years old has to have the signature of a legal guardian.
The Ridge Cat runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays, as weather and terrain conditions permit. The pick-up point is north of the established North Gate One location, with access to the north of the top of Chair Nine.
