Two ski resorts in the Washington Cascades offer programs that get fifth graders from Washington State on the lifts for free. Mt. Baker gives fifth graders free lift tickets, and Stevens Pass provides fifth graders with season passes.

Both programs require proof that the student is in the fifth grade. School identifications, report cards, and teacher letters qualify.

At Stevens Pass, fifth graders must go to the Guest Relations desk in Granite Peaks Lodge to get their free season pass. Call 206-812-4510 ext. 4206 for more information.

At Mt. Baker, fifth graders must submit an application and be accompanied by a paying or season passholder adult to get a free lift ticket. For more details, check here.
