As skiers and riders head into the backcountry more frequently, outerwear manufacturers have been forced to keep up. There were many new products at the SIA (Snowsports Industry of America) Snow Show in Denver, Colo. from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3, all aimed at keeping backcountry travelers safe and aware when heading into the unmaintained wildnerness. From avalanche packs to touring bindings to backcountry shells, there was no shortage of new gear out there.
