Heavenly Offers Holiday Lodging Package At Best Western

Heavenly Mountain Resort and the Best Western Station House Inn are teaming up with a holiday ski and stay package.

The Holiday at Heavenly package, which is available for stays Dec. 16 through Jan. 3, includes three nights of lodging and two days of skiing. Lodging is in a hotel room with a queen bed.

The inn, located two blocks west of the Nevada Stateline and within walking distance to Heavenly, features 97 non-smoking rooms. Rooms come equipped with coffee makers, refrigerators, cable television, and complimentary high-speed Internet access.

The inn also has an outdoor heated pool, whirlpool spa, and complimentary full breakfast at an on-site restaurant. Restaurants, shops, and casinos are also convenient to the inn.

The package requires a three-night minimum stay; however, it is also available for as long as 10 nights maximum. Rates start at $425 per person for the three-night stay with two days of lift tickets.

Heavenly's 4,800 acres of terrain spans 3,500 vertical feet. Annual natural snowfall of 360 inches is supplemented by snowmaking on 70 percent of the mountain.

Visitors to Heavenly can round out holiday activities with ice skating and sleigh rides. Open-air ice skating is available daily at Heavenly Mountain Village. Borges sleigh rides also operate daily, with rides in old-fashioned, antique European sleighs to viewpoints overlooking Lake Tahoe.
