Canaan Valley Celebrates 38th Season With Price Rollback

West Virginia's Canaan Valley is scheduled to open Dec. 11, 2009 for it's 38th season. Discounted lodging rates of $38 per night and $38 lift ticket/ski rental combo tickets will be offered the weekend of December 11-13 to celebrate. Lift tickets without rentals cost $20. A lift/snowboard rental combo costs $48. The same package is available Mar. 19 - 21.

Value Season rates start opening day through Dec. 24 and March 7 - 20.  Value Season and Prime Season weekday lift ticket rates are $30 for adults and $22 for children. A Value Season package for a day lift ticket and an overnight is $59 per person, double occupancy.

Canaan's anniversary celebration continues through the holidays with special three-day package options beginning at $287 per person, double occupancy Dec. 25, 2009 - Jan. 3, 2010. The price includes lodging, breakfasts, a three-day lift ticket and Beech Club privileges. Santa is expected to make a guest appearance that week. The resort will offer a special Round the World themed dinner Dec. 24 and its traditional holiday buffet Dec. 25.
