The Arosa Gay SkiWeek has established itself among the top gay winter events in Europe. Jan. 9-16, 2010 will mark the sixth Arosa Gay SkiWeek and is set to attract more than 300 participants from around the world.
Switzerland now hosts a big, international gay ski week, like France (Tignes' European Gay SkiWeek) and Austria (Soelden's Gay Snow Happening).
New for the Arosa Gay SkiWeek 2010, is a special night party in the Munggalock at the Carmenna Huette (with snowcat transportation), a gourmet dinner at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, and a drag-queen horse sleigh trip with champagne cocktail and private coaster-lift to the Tschuggenhuette.
An event pass is required to access the various parties, events, and happenings. It's the cheapest way and also offers various discounts. There are Gold, Silver or Bronze Event Passes. The Gold Event Pass is included in all hotel packages booked on Arosa's Web site.
The six gay-friendly partner hotels in Arosa offer various packages for all budgets: Hotel Eden, Hotel Seehof, Tschuggen Grand Hotel, Hotel Vetter, Hotel Asora, and Posthotel.
Arosa sits at 1800 metres and is famous for its reliable snowfall. It means you can ski back to your hotel at the end of the day.
